Biography
Ann Michelle Daniels is an associate professor at South Dakota State University and a family life, parenting, and child care specialist for South Dakota Extension. Ann Michelle’s areas of focus include infant toddlers, child development, child care, parenting issues and individual and family resiliency. She has presented her work in six different countries and all over the United States. She is a child editor for the Children, Youth, and Families at Risk program. Her grants have included the Bush Foundation Infant and Toddler project and Children, Youth, and Families at Risk (CYFAR). Her research explores the implementation and feasibilities of utilizing evidence-based programs with specific audiences such a rural families, Native Americans and military families. She is certified in program and infant toddler care, strengthening families 10-14, and life skills.
